Today we bring you a Middle Eastern superfood with our spicy chicken shawarma and Chilli No.5’s Perfect Piri Piri  Hot Sauce. Just a handful of every day spices makes an incredible Chicken Shawarma marinade that infuses the chicken with exotic flavours. 
These Middle Eastern  beauties are a low fat, flavour packed favourite. Each shawarmas is a great source of vitamin A, C and protein, plus they provide your body with calcium, magnesium, iron and sodium. Combined with super healthy salad and low calorie wraps. These Turkish classics are the perfect light spicy snack, and the perfect healthy way to enjoy protein packed chicken.

  • BBQ
  • 3 meat skewers
  • Serving board


  • 1 kg chicken thighs
  • 1 tsb onion powder
  • 1 tsb garlic powder
  • 1 tbs allspice (pimento)
  • 1 tsb smoked paprika 
  • 1 tsb ground corriander
  • 1 tsb sea salt
  • 1 tsb rapeseed oil
  • 6 flour wraps
  • Mixed salad
  • 1 Bottle Chilli No. 5 Perfect Piri Piri


  • Light BBQ and get to around 250c
  • Add chicke thighs to a mixing bowl
  • Add all dry spices and seasoning
  • Add rapeseed oil
  • Add all bottle of Piri piri sauce and mix well
  • Thread chicken onto 3 skewers so all skewers go through each piece of meat.
  • Resulting on a tower of skewered chicken
  • Place meat onto BBQ and cook for around 90 minutes until meat is 72c in heat
  • Also add some shallots to BBQ
  • Once the meat is cooked, remove both the chiken and the onion from the BBQ and allow to rest
  • Chop all meat from skewers and serve on a board
  • Lightly test some flour wraps and serve with a side salad
