Easy Homemade Pad Thai

Today we have an authentic Pad Thai recipe – perfect Autumn comfort food that will take you back to Thailand for an hour. This filling and spicy recipe is the perfect lunchtime-snack that will blow your taste buds off with a thai spiced flavour from our Totally Thai Chilli No. 5 hot sauce, mixed with the healthy tamarind paste.
This recipe is easy to make and packed with flavour. Rumble's authentic Pad Thai includes one giant as well as a smaller prawn plus garlic chives, chilli, coriander, ginger, garlic, lemongrass, tamarind, and our Totally Thai Hot Sauce. The ingredients are bound together with scrambled eggs before being lightly stir-fried and served with coriander and chopped peanuts.
Prawns are rich in Omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin B12, which help support healthy brain and hear function, while the chillies, ginger, garlic and lemongrass offer numerous benefits, including helping to reduce heart disease, inflammation, and cholestrol.

  • 1 Red Onion
  • 3 Cloves garlic , minced
  • 1 Birds Eye Chilli
  • 5 Carrots
  • 1/2  cup  Fresh cilantro
  • 8 ounces Of uncooked shrimp, chicken, or extra-firm tofu , cut into small pieces
  • 1 tbsp Chilli No. 5 Totally Thai Hot Sauce
  • 3 tbsp  Fish sauce
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Fresh bean sprouts
  • 2 Limes


  • Start by chopping the onion nicely fin, as well as the garlic into small pieces and the chillis
  • Then pell the carrots
  • Chop the greens
  • Cook noodles according to package instructions, just until tender.  Rinse under cold water.
  • Mix the sauce ingredients together. Set aside: In a bowl add 1 tbsp of Chilli No. 5 Totally Thai Hot Sauce, together with fish sauce.
  • Add the "Momma Shrimp" to the BBQ. The shrimp will cook quickly, about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until pink, flipping only once.
  • At the same time add the smaller shrimps to a pan and heat it on the BBQ as well.
  • Push everything to the side of the pan. Add a little more oil and add the beaten eggs. Scramble the eggs, breaking them into small pieces with a spatula as they cook.
  • To the previous mixture, add the veggies
  • Put the prawns back in
  • Add the noodles into the pan & get it all mxied up
  • Add the sauce & mix even better!
  • Don't forget to add the greens and beans
  • Toss everything to combine
  • Serve immediately!
