All the Chilli No. 5 sauces, oils, and flakes are vegan and perfect for vegetarians. Chilli No. 5 is not certified vegan, but do not use any animal products in any of out 150+ ingredients.
In the early days, we removed Worcestershire Sauce from some of the sauces which had been included to enhance the flavour, and saltiness, but was obviously full of fish oils and anchovies.
After our clients contacted us about using honey in our sauces, we removed honey from all our recipes and exchanged it with agave syrup to keep it herbivorous.
Chilli No. 5 sauces are completely meatless and dairy-less.
The hottest option we have is our Pure No. 5 Hot Sauce, which is extra extra extra hot. Our other vegan options of very spicy hot sauces include Sriracha Cha Cha Cha, Mexican Fury, Totally Thai and Forever Phall.
This extra spicy hot sauce is pure Carolina Reaper, Scorpion, Ghost, Habanero and the No. 5 chilli blend of chilli flakes with Apple Cider Vinegar, Black & White Garlic, Ginger, Lemon & Lime and the added natural health supplements contained in all our sauces.
