Chilli No. 5 recently held its first Tapas Pop Up event at Komo Monaco, an exclusive Michelin starred dining destination in the Principality of Monaco, headed up by acclaimed Italian-Argentinian chef Mauro Coalegreco and French pastry chef Pierre Herme.

 

The March event enabled guests to sample Chilli No 5’s gourmet hot sauces while enjoying exquisite food prepared by some of the world’s most esteemed chefs, including Leo Besnard, a Michelin starred French chef who travelled down from Geneva in Switzerland, Chilli No 5’s head chef, Andrea Pepe, and the culinary team at Komo Monaco.

 

Leo Besnard is one of the world’s youngest chefs to receive a Michelin star, gaining his first star aged just 26 in 2020. He is currently the chef de cuisine at Le Lion d’Or in Geneva, where he serves up modern French fare.

 

The exclusive event was strictly limited to just 50 guests, ensuring an intimate gathering coupled with the very finest cuisine.

 

The menu featured 12 expertly prepared cold and hot small plates, each paired with Chilli No.5 ‘s healthy hot sauces.

Just some of the sumptuous dishes that guests feasted on at the event were Ukrainian golden caviar blinis paired with Chilli No. 5’s limited edition luxury hot sauce Champagne Gold; beef maki with sesame seeds, wasabi, and coriander with Chilli No. 5’s Wicked Wasabi healthy hot sauce; ceviche with tiger milk, caviar lemon and Chilli No. 5’s hot and fiery Mexican Fury Tex Mex hot sauce; peppered artichoke and basil pesto with Chilli No. 5’s Heavenly Harissa hot sauce; and pork confit with crushed tomato and Chilli No. 5’s mouth-watering Louisiana BBQ Hot Sauce.  

 

The night was accompanied by the beautiful sounds of DJ Niko de Saint Tropez, resident at Eden Plage Pampelonne Beach, and Von Lowenstein, an exclusive shoe designer.
